MISSION STATEMENT
The PowerPlay Pickleball Junior Sponsorship Program exists to uplift and empower youth and their families who are financially burdened by the growing costs of competitive pickleball. Through community support and targeted sponsorship, our mission is to create equitable access to training, tournaments, and mentorship — helping junior players reach their highest potential, regardless of financial status.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

1. Ease the Financial Burden on Families and Provide Meaningful Support.Help cover tournament fees, equipment, travel, and other related expenses for junior players whose families are experiencing financial hardship.
2. Fund Our Coaches. Provide financial support for coaches who dedicate themselves to our juniors, but lack the
   resources to compete in high-level tournaments or continue their training.
3. PowerPlay Pickleball Membership Access. Offer sponsored memberships to qualifying juniors so they can regularly train and play in a safe, welcoming, and high-quality environment at PowerPlay Pickleball.
4. Establish PowerPlay Pickleball as the Home Base for Juniors. Promote PowerPlay Pickleball as the premier training club for junior pickleball athletes in Los Angeles — with a vision to become the leading junior facility in California.
5. Host Premier Junior Tournaments and Pro Classes at PowerPlay Pickleball. Use sponsorship funds to bring top-tier. events, classes and pro mentorship to. PowerPlay Pickleball - allowing our kids to learn and compete at the highest level right in their own backyard.

STRUCTURE & ACCOUNTABILITY
• A dedicated sponsorship bank account will be created and maintained.
• Only the Sponsorship Committee will have access to this bank account.
• All disbursements must be reviewed and approved by the Sponsorship Committee to
ensure transparency and alignment with program goals.
• All decisions will be guided by one principle: supporting the development of young
athletes and growing the junior pickleball community.

SPONSORSHIP CRITERIA & INVOLVEMENT
Ideal sponsors may:
• Provide financial support or in-kind donations (gear, uniforms, equipment).
• Help build brand partnerships (especially with clothing or pickleball-related companies).
• Serve as mentors, ambassadors, or community role models to influence and inspire the
next generation of players.
• Consider investing in PowerPlay’s mission and facility growth to support long-term
sustainability.
