UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS
Entertainment Pickleball League (EPL)
Several courts will be used on January 25th. The EPL is a platform designed exclusively for the entertainment industry bringing together Streamers, Agencies, Studios, Broadcasters, Production Companies, Social Media platforms, Record Labels, and Celebrities. It's a place where entertainment professionals can come together to compete, network, and showcase their skills.
NATIONAL JUNIOR PICKLEBALL (NJP)
The facility will be pretty booked up from March 6-9th. We are hosting National Junior Pickleball for the Southern California Regional here at PowerPlay. NJP brings together Juniors ages 8-18 from diverse backgrounds and regions, fostering a vibrant community of young athletes passionate about pickleball. But NJP is not just about competition; it’s about inclusivity and opportunity.
PROGRAMMING AND ENGAGEMENT
Our Advisory Team has created a nice line up of classes and ways to enjoy the club, while improving your game. Our goal is to create a fun, social, competitive culture. Our Programming will cater to brand new players to more advanced players. Our coaches are all PPR Certified, with a wealth of experience.
In December, we'll create some fun engagement activities. Stay tuned for those updates via email. If you haven't joined our email list, please do so as that will be the best method of communication.
INTRO TO PICKLEBALL
These are free classes to help introduce people to the wonderful sport of pickleball. You'll learn basic skills, rules and scoring while having a fun time.
SKILLS & DRILLS
These classes will consist of serving, dinking, driving, 3rd shot drops, etc.
LIVE BALL
Live Ball is a fun, interactive, fast paced competitive session which focuses on improving key elements of your pickleball game.
DUPR / UTR RATINGS NIGHT
Join us to play competitive, fun matches with similarly skilled players. At the end of the night, all match scores will be updated to either the DUPR or UTR platforms.
CHALLENGE COURTS
We will have a few courts set aside by skill level for drop-in / challenge play.
ROUND ROBIN PLAY
Join other members to play in mini-tournaments by skill level. Every team of two will play all other teams in the "round robin".
LADDER PLAY
Join other members to play in a fun format which provides a great way to meet many other members as you play. Every game you play with a new member!
BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE ACADEMY
These are 4-week courses which focus on keep skill / shot development along with strategies and tips to improve your game.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Wrap up your week with tons of FUN. DJ playing music, food trucks and tons of fun. Periodic theme-based evenings including Glowball, Disco Night, etc.
